Ingredients

  • 8 C apples, peeled, sliced (approximately 8 apples)
  • 1 1/3 C. (325 g) brown sugar
  • 1 C. (125 g) flour
  • 1 C. crumbled corn flakes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2/3 C. (150 g) softened butter

 

Instructions

1. Lay apple slices in a greased 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
2. Mix remaining ingredients with fingers or fork.
3. Spread mixture over apples.
4. Bake at 350º F (180º C) for 30-35 minutes.
5. If apples appear dry, add a little water or juice to soften them as they bake.
6. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
