Day 4 | 30 Days of Prayer | Croatia

Topic: Infertility/Miscarriage/Illness

Today we pray for Attendees: Karilyn, Katy, Holly and Jennifer

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden; like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11

We recognize Father, that no matter what continent we live on, or what our station in life is, infertility and miscarriage are very painful. Lord, we ask that You comfort the women who live with this reality day in and day out. Please give them grace and strength to deal with the complicated medical terminology in a different language, learn first-hand how different cultures grieve (often not in our way), and deal with unintentional, hurtful, and thoughtless comments. Abba Father, please remind them today that You really care about them. You know their secret thoughts and feel their hearts’ yearnings. They matter to You. Put my tears in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8 NASV).

Father God, You are the Healer. Many women are suffering with chronic illnesses and pain—ranging from cancer, migraines, and back issues, to anxiety attacks and chronic fatigue syndrome. Not feeling well is de-motivating, yet it is often a reality. Help these ladies to give themselves grace (and their teammates’ understanding), while relying on the truth that My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenges for Prayer

Pray for the Church in Sudan Believers must find ways to recover from the damage done by war and persecution This includes both the physical damage from bombing, fi re, and poverty, but also the spiritual and emotional trauma caused by such prolonged pain.

Possibly the most strategic need is training Spiritual leaders and pastors need training that suits the Sudanese context In addition, the millions who came to Jesus from Islamic, animist, or weak Christian backgrounds need discipleship Out of 114 languages, only 10 have the whole Bible Christian radio/audio resources and TV/video material could help believers read and understand Scripture, gain a Christian worldview, and learn how to reach their neighbours (even their enemies!) for Jesus
