Today we pray for…

Attendees: Marlene, Sandra, Susan S., and Tanya

Peace to the women, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to each woman who loves our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. Ephesians 6:23 (paraphrased)

Self-care is recognized as a need, yet one that often gets put on the back burner. Father, lead these women to a soul level of refreshment. Soothe their emotions and gently begin to heal their wounds. May they be able to process life/trauma in this safe place. Confirm to them that You are a Father Who knows, Who loves, Who sees, Who cares. We pray that this be an oasis where they experience intimacy with You and joy in connecting with others who understand their lives.

Namibia, wedged between Angola and South Africa, has the distinction of being the driest African country south of the equator. About 38% of its population of 2.2 million live in cities, the rest eking out a living in harsh conditioxns. AIDS is literally killing this country with an estimate of 25% infected. One area has an infection rate of 43%. There have been reports that a prayer revival is sweeping through many churches who desperately need to work together in bringing the gospel to this hurting nation. Pray that more and more churches would join this community of courageous saints.

In Jesus’ Name Amen.
