___________________ DAY 21 – SPIRITUAL WARFARE___________________

For though we (they) live in the world, we (they do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we (they) fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. May they use their powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, intentionally fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. May they use their tools at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

II Corinthians 10 :3-5, The Message

Today we pray for attendees: Elizabeth, Debbie, and Zenat

We pray that the ladies will find the retreat to be a sanctuary of rest from this warfare. We ask that You guide, protect, and convict them where sin is trying to take root. Strengthen them in battle when Satan attempts to gain a foothold in their hearts. Through Your Spirit, make them sensitive to enemy encroachment; may they run to You to be their stronghold and refuge in time of trouble. May the cry of their heart be cleanse me from secret faults (Psalm 19:12). Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom. Give them strength to combat the lies that infiltrate their thoughts, and replace them with Your truth.

The majority of the volunteer team will be traveling to Dubai today. Lord, we ask for uneventful trips (and non-anxious hearts) and that all the luggage arrive. Please keep the staff healthy.

Heavenly Father, the number of believers is not growing (in the country of Georgia), but it is at least shrinking slower than the overall population. This is not the most positive comment one can make about the church in this former Soviet country. We pray for unity among the small Christian community that is deeply divided. Georgia desperately needs the convicting ministry of the Holy Spirit.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
