Day 4 | 30 Days of Prayer | Dubai
________________ DAY 4 – THRIVE STAFF/FUNDING_______________
My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Father, may Lorrie, Leigh, and Dayna experience Your Spirit’s direction, strength, unity, and grace as they lead the volunteer team and work out the logistics of the retreat.
May the volunteer team “look out” for each other, be a real source of encouragement, and model unity and joy to the attendees. Lord, we pray that the volunteers will be intentional in taking time to slow down and connect deeply with You. We ask that You give them healthy margins—spiritually, physically, and emotionally—BEFORE they leave to give of themselves in ways they never imagined.
Father, today we pray for the very practical needs of funding for the retreat. As the volunteers creatively secure their needed support for serving, please enable them to communicate well the unique opportunity You have provided through the Thrive ministry. As they step out in faith to serve, may You provide in a way that creates and builds a greater trust in Your ability to provide for their needs. The staff is walking into serving in a dark area of the world, we ask for protection and strength over every one of them. In Jesus’ name. May all You want to accomplish in and through each of them be done.
Heavenly Father, India has long been one of the most fascinating countries in the world. Second only to China in population, it dominates south Asia and the Indian Ocean. Though its constitution allows religious freedom, Hindu extremists have been waging a war of hate against Muslims and Christians in the past decade. Yet, the Holy Spirit continues to raise Indian Christians who have had a tremendous impact on the social and religious fabric of this country. We pray that this flowering of Christian leadership would continue to grow. We also pray for continued growth for the church movements that are underway.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
