And your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
The picture is of a portion of Mbingo Baptist Hospital started in 1952 and administered by the Cameroon Baptist Convention. It is a large referral/teaching hospital. Patients not only get good medical care but they hear about the Great Physician who died for them and who wants to heal them spiritually too. The hospital has a wonderful ministry.
The hospital trains doctors, nurses, anesthetists, and many other medical workers. My job (I am a general surgeon) here is to help with the PAACS program—Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons. It is a ministry of the Christian Medical Dental Association and its goal is to train Godly Christian surgeons for Africa. My official posting is in Liberia at ELWA Hospital but I am just waiting on the Lord to speak regarding when or if I should return to Liberia or stay here.
