___________________________ DAY 26 – GRACE___________________________

There is now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-2

I’m almost positive everyone knows this verse. However, I’m almost equally sure that many of us (and attendees) live with an ever-present sense of guilt and shame at not being or doing enough. Jesus, I/we ask that as I/we confess our sins, we would be assured that You are faithful and just and WILL forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). May we hear, “I forgive you” and may we ACCEPT that forgiveness. May we walk in freedom by the power of the Spirit. Holy Spirit, during this retreat, we ask you to cleanse the ladies and free them to clearly reflect You and to live in truth and abundance for Your name’s sake. As they interact with each other and the staff, orchestrate divine appointments that show them You care about every detail of their lives.

Help the ladies to be fully present, not worrying about their families or ministries. May they receive this gift of time for themselves, and may they feel accepted as they rest, connect, and be themselves.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
