___________ DAY 18 – INFERTILITY/MISCARRIAGE/ILLNESS___________

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11

Today I/we pray for attendees: Tamara, Debbie, Lucy, and Kristie

I/we recognize Father, that no matter what continent we live on, or what our station in life is, infertility and miscarriage are very painful. Lord, I/we ask that You comfort the women who live with this reality day in and day out. Please give them grace and strength to deal with the complicated medical terminology in a different language, learn first-hand how different cultures grieve (often not in our way), and deal with unintentional, hurtful, and thoughtless comments. Abba Father, please remind them today that You really care about them. You know their secret thoughts and feel their hearts’ yearnings. They matter to You. Put my tears in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8 NASV).

Father God, You are the Healer. Many women are suffering with chronic illnesses and pain—ranging from cancer, migraines, and back issues, to anxiety attacks and chronic fatigue syndrome. Not feeling well is de-motivating, yet it is often a reality. Help these ladies to give themselves grace (and their teammates’ understanding), while relying on the truth that My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Several also have children who are ill and the medical care is scarce. Give wisdom to call a medical plane in for evacuation when necessary. Lord, only You know how to lead them and grant them peace. I/we ask that 2 Corinthians 12:9 be a reality in their lives as only You can make happen.

Morocco has held on to an aura of mystique over the decades since Casablanca. Father, I/we pray that the creativity of the various works in the country would bear fruit in life changing relationship with Jesus. Like many countries of the region, believers face persecution from family, neighbors, and officials.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
