___________ DAY 16 – GRANDPARENTING LONG DISTANCE___________
Lord, this is our intercession:
That the women’s love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that they may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ – to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
Today I/we pray for attendees: Sandlin, Donna, Heather, and Kathryn
A grandmother’s heart is intricately connected with her grandkids. A mom’s heart is burdened for her kid’s marriages and parenting skills, and aches at the distance. Lord, encourage these ladies with silly yet significant connections/pictures with their grandkids via skype and visits, if possible. May the times they are together be rich in laughter, sweet memories, and divine appointments. As the kids grieve their parent’s closeness, may they feel their prayers in tangible ways.
Father, give them eyes to see things as you see them, wisdom to navigate from where they are to where they need to be, and boldness and grace to do the right things in the right way. May God receive all the glory, honor, and praise in everything, and may they be hidden in the cross of Christ. (a request by one of the attendees).
Father, Canada, the second largest country in the world, has as a diverse population as it has topography. While the majority of the land is wide open spaces and mountains, over 80% of the population is found in urban settings. I/we pray for the ministries that are reaching the urban dwellers in all their diversity. The influx of immigrants is an opportunity to reach people who have been unreachable in their home countries.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
