____________________ DAY 8 – FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT____________________
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.

Today I/we pray for attendees: Corinne, Lourdes, Nataliya, Denise, and Shirley
Lord, I/we specifically ask that each of these ladies remain deeply in You, in Your Word, and in intercession; may they experience intimacy in Your presence. The areas in which many are working are arid; physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our desire is that they grow in every fruit of the Spirit regardless of their situations, because You are their root. If they are feeling worn down, burnt-out, cynical, and hardened, Spirit would You revive them and their faith. Please help them refocus, process with others who can empathize, and gain renewed perspective. May their time at the retreat be the start of this renewal. I/we ask for an outpouring of Your Spirit, resulting in praise, joy (cleansing laughter!), and thankfulness!
Father God, I/we also want to bring before you the country of France. You know the challenge of bringing the gospel to people who are more wrapped up in the traditions of the church than in its teachings. I/we thank you for the growth among evangelicals in this country over the last 40 years, despite the rapid secularization that has spawned widespread indifference to spiritual matters. I/we pray for church growth and a courageous spirit among the believers to witness to their countrymen.
