Today we pray for…

Attendees: Holly and Brittny

We pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, that He give these ladies the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they may KNOW him better. We pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened in order that they may know the HOPE to which he has called them, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great POWER for them who believe (Ephesians 1:17-19).

As the attendees visit with their sending agencies, we pray for clear communication and direction. Clarify and resolve any misunderstandings and may grace, forgiveness, and trust be renewed. Where there has been conflict, we pray for resolution.

We also ask that You bless their ministry to their partners Stateside. Multiply the vision and passion in those hearts You are calling to serve overseas. Encourage the ladies with significant conversations. Bless their interactions at the retreat, and may they soak in the gift of having volunteers who are there specifically to listen to their hearts and stories.

In Senegal, mainland Africa’s most westerly state, there are few believers and the rate of growth is slow. Believers are scattered, often poorly taught, and under constant pressures from Muslim or animistic relatives to conform. Lord, we pray for a strong church with a backbone of Christian families to be planted within each ethnic group. Father, you know that every ethnic group is represented in Dakar, the capital. We pray that this city will become a source of gospel light for the whole world.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
