INTRODUCTION

I invite you to join me in the opportunity of empowering global workers serving God in 28 different countries by lifting them up to the One who is Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace  (Isaiah 9:6).

We will begin each day with a verse on which to meditate. Then, throughout the 30 days, we’ll pray for every attendee and staff by name, lifting up requests common to these women, as well as each of the countries they represent.

There is no greater gift you can give these women to restore their souls and impact the Kingdom than sincere prayers on their behalf.

Praying with you,
Debbie Suits

Today we pray for…

Retreat attendees: Jillian and Deborah

For though (these ladies) live in the world, they do not wage war as the world does. The weapons they fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. May they intentionally demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (II Corinthians 10 :3-5).

We pray that the retreat be a sanctuary of rest from this warfare.  We ask that You guide, protect, and convict them when sin is trying to take root.  Strengthen them in battle when Satan attempts to gain a foothold in their hearts.  Through Your Spirit, make them sensitive to enemy encroachment; may they run to You to be their stronghold and refuge in time of trouble.  May the cry of their heart be “cleanse me from secret faults” (Psalm 19:12).  Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom.  Give them strength to combat the lies that infiltrate their thoughts, and replace them with Your truth.

Mexico is more than just border towns and has an interior rich in history and in great need for dedicated global workers. There still remain many areas where evangelical work is in its infancy or non-existent. We pray for more laborers to head into the remote areas of Mexico as well as the unreached urban centers. We pray that they will persevere in the face of increasing crime and intimidation.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
