Attendees: Tiffany, Rebecca, and Alicia

The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men (women) stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:28-31).

Getting married, having kids, and serving the Lord in global work is many a women’s dream. The living out the realities of the dream may be more stretching than what one may have thought. Lord please comfort and direct these ladies when they are experiencing homesickness and desiring to stay connected with extended family while being fully “present” in one’s new culture. We ask that you help them creatively experience fresh encounters with the You in the midst of the chaos and busyness of life. Develop in them effective time and stress management that is disciplined, healthy, and grace-filled.

For those newly married, we pray for renewed connection emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Deepen and be the “interpretor” in their communication so that understanding is achieved and unity be a result. Guard them from avoidance and unhealthy outlets of unmet needs. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
