The Lord God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

Lord Jesus, rekindle belief and experience of this verse in these ladies lives.

As women, You know of our many struggles with self-esteem. Lord, we ask You to help these ladies live in truth and not belittle their value by dwelling on Satan’s lies. Give them discipline, perseverance, and creativity to take care of their bodies and nourish their souls. We ask that You help them find healthy ways to deal with their stress. Lead them into healthy rhythms in work, rest, exercise, and friendship. We seek your blessing as we do color analysis and make-up, offer exercise classes in the morning, and give nurse consultations.

We thank you, Lord, for your provision for this retreat, for the resources given and for those who are willing to give of their time to join You in Your work. Today we specifically thank you for the team of thirty women that are going to serve as volunteer staff for this retreat. May they experience Your faithfulness as they see their financial support come in, intercession committed to their journey, and care provided for their families.  We ask that each come with healthy “margins” emotionally, physically, and spiritually as the energy needed to pour into these women in this area of the world will be great.  Father, protect and prepare each volunteer in the blood and name of Jesus.

We ask specifically for Jill, Ruth Anne, Joy, Ronnie, Karyn, Deana, Carol Anne, Karla, Joyce, Priscilla, and Tina as they come to do pedicures (truly like a spiritual foot washing..with color!). We ask that they connect well with the women and are able to listen attentively while massaging and carefully painting toenails. Bless every encounter and be pleased with Your servants. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
