For though these ladies live in the world, they do not wage war as the world does. The weapons they fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. May they demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (II Corinthians 10 :3-5).

We pray the ladies will find the retreat to be a sanctuary of praise and rest. We ask that You guide, protect, and convict them when sin is trying to take root. Strengthen them in battle when Satan attempts to gain a foothold in their hearts. Through Your Spirit, make them sensitive to enemy encroachment; may they run to You to be their stronghold and refuge in time of trouble. May the cry of their heart be “cleanse me from secret faults” (Psalm 19:12). Deliver them from every evil work and preserve them for Your heavenly kingdom.

We ask for the covering of Jesus’ name to protect the volunteer team from any attempt of the devil interfering in the work You want to accomplish in and through them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
