The law of the Lord is perfect, may it revive the ladies’ souls. The precepts of the Lord are right please give abundant joy to their hearts. The commands of the Lord are radiant, give them new life in their eyes (Psalm 19:7-8).
Lord, we thank you that Liz is coming as our speaker to Phuket. Her passion for the Word runs deep, along with her heart for women on the field. Father, please guide her every thought, guard her from distractions, help her focus, and give her insights all the way up to the time and during her talks; grant her the gift of discernment to be extremely sensitive and responsive to Your Spirit’s guidance.
Lord, we lift up Kerri and Alicia as they lead the women in worship. Music is a balm to our souls and connects us deeply with You. For those women who are exhausted and dry, may the music and words fall gently upon them and bring about new life. We pray for unity of the worship team. Our prayer is that each time Your Word is sung, prayed, or taught at the retreats, that it revive the ladies souls, give them joy in their hearts and may they leave with eyes that are bright with hope, love, and purpose. We cover them by the name of Jesus.
Throughout the years Kenya has been seen as one of the more stable countries of East Africa, yet like its neighbors, pervasive corruption in the highest levels keeps it from realizing its potential. A huge national debt, the marginalization of non-ruling ethnic groups and the spread of HIV/AIDS does not make for a bright future. Yet the possibility of major changes exist as over 35% of the people claim to be evangelical. In spite of nominalism within the Protestant church, many believers are making a difference and can be found in all levels of government, commerce, and relief and compassion work. Pray for the equipping of Kenyan believers to be godly influencers in their country as they face incredible challenges and become a pivotal player in reaching the continent for Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
