My name is Ronit Odom. I became a Christian when I was six years old. When I was nine I told my mom that I was going to grow up to be a global worker in Africa. I have now been serving as a global worker in Musoma, Tanzania for nearly four years!

I work with SIL International as a linguist. I help develop orthographies for a couple of languages and do linguistic research on them as well. This helps facilitate Bible translation for these languages.

Please be praying for a spirit of truth and love to preside in my workplace. Pray that we can trust each other and love each other as we work together to translate the Bible into eight of the languages in this region. Please also be praying for wisdom for me regarding where to invest my time and efforts most efficiently, primarily when money requests are made of me, that I would know how best to respond. You can also be praying that I will know God more and love Him more because there is always more to know and love. Pray that I will not grow dull in my heart in regards to pursuing God.
