Global Woman Highlight | Theresa Frazier

Hi.  I’m Theresa but friends and family call me Tree, you know, like a tree planted by the water that cannot be moved (Psalm 1). I am a mother and grandmother with family in Southern California.  I am a sister in the Lord Jesus who desires to make Him known everywhere I go.

God’s calling on my life was to teach English using His Word.  I’m not a teacher by trade and wouldn’t know the first thing about teaching English, even though it’s my native language, BUT GOD in His infinite wisdom prepared and trained me and now I’m here doing just that!

I live on an island here in Dumaguete, Philippines.  It’s one of the 3 main island of the 7,000 plus.  Dumaguete has a population of 120,883 people.  I live in the town but teach in English/Bible classes to 6th graders in two public schools in the mountains.  The Lord God has me teaching a Women’s Bible study on that same mountain.  The mountain people are a joy to my heart as well as a burden for them to know our wonderful God.

Please pray I would be steadfast in prayer and continual study of His Word.  Please pray for strongholds to be broken on that mountain and that the Spirit will continue the work in hearts there. Please pray for more laborers to come alongside that we could reach the next generation and that whole mountain for God’s glory and for His kingdom.
