Today we pray for…

Volunteers: Ruth, Mary Ellen, and Lynn

The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.  The precepts of the Lord are right giving joy to the heart.  The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving life to the eyes (Psalm 19:7,8).

Lord, we thank you that Ruth is coming as our speaker to Snowmass. Her passion for the Word runs deep, along with her heart for women on the field. Father, please guide her every thought, guard her from distractions, help her focus, and give her insights all the way up to the time and during her talks; grant her the gift of discernment to be extremely sensitive and responsive to Your Spirit’s guidance. We boldly ask that through your Word there would be revival of souls, renewed joy in hearts and new light in each ladies eyes. Holy Spirit, empower, lead and give uncanny discernment to Mary Ellen and Lynn as they spend one-on-one times in prayer with some of the ladies.

Today we pray for Kuwait, an oil-rich wedge of desert between Iraq and Saudia Arabia. Since the Iraqi occupation, Kuwait has returned to stability and affluence. We pray Lord that the Kuwaiti leaders and people might become open to the Christian faith and not merely to secular Western values. Only a few hundred Kuwaitis are known to be believers. We thank you Father that expatriate Christians gained recognition for their prayer and relief aid during and after the Iraqi occupation. Many Kuwaitis travel to other lands as tourists, businessmen and students, and a number have come to know Christ. Fear of reprisal often prevents them from returning home. We pray for wisdom and boldness for the converts, and a burden to reach their own people. Amen.
