This picture was taken in Central Asia during a very tough season of my life.  And yet, in God’s faithfulness and love, He moved me on to the next one.  The grandeur of God is often seen in mountains.  They are majestic and powerful.  One moment, it can be sunny and warm and the next, it can feel cold and dark.  I often want life to be all sunny and warm.  But, the reality is that the cold, gloomy days help me to it enjoy the others more.  Seasons exist in both our natural and spiritual lives.  They help us to grow and be thankful and they bring variety .  May we be like patient farmers, diligently working and accepting of each season.  May we keep the big picture in focus: the harvest the Lord is bringing about in His time and way- in our hearts and for His Kingdom.
