I am a restored and beloved child of God, focused on knowing Him and helping fellow pilgrims on the journey to know Him better. I’ve lived in northern Ethiopia for the past 10 years.

I’m just finishing up my master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and getting my feet wet teaching kids in my neighborhood and about 70 students at the local Orthodox seminary. I’m also preparing to teach an Advanced English class to some of our European teammates and our Ethiopian staff at the youth center that my husband directs. We have 1000+ plus kids coming through the center each week and are primarily focused on discipleship through the relationships that we build through our work.

Although I home schooled my kids for the last 12 years, teaching in a classroom setting is completely new to me – I was a CPA in MLBK (my life before kids). Pray for wisdom to know how best to teach the wide range of students I have and for God to give me many opportunities to make Him known.
