My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him (Psalm 62:5).

May Shari and Sarah derive much joy and encouragement from the interaction with other women who get their life and can gracefully share insights gained from their experience.

Like believing moms everywhere our attendees’ heart cry is that their children have an intimate, personal walk with the Lord.  Raising kids on the field in some ways is no different than those in the States and in numerous ways, quite unique. Second guessing one’s call when children struggle with identity, friends, and cultural adjustment is not uncommon. Lord we lift up those at the retreat who are experiencing tension and difficult decisions concerning their children. Raising teens carries it’s own challenges, in addition to living overseas, the complications can be many. May they sense your wisdom, peace and grace as they journey through the various family challenges.

Mongolia can be found wedged between Russia and China, this country of approximately 3 million people has seen rapid growth amongst the Christian community. There may have been only 4 believers in 1989 and today there are over 40,000. We pray that growth would continue, but with a Mongolian flavor. Biblically centered but with cultural relevance. There has been a resurgence of traditional religions that can dilute the Christian message amongst new or immature believers and churches. We pray for solid teaching of God’s word and equipping sound church leaders. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
