I left home 4 days ago, bound for my first Thrive Retreat with my carry on bag filled with music and marshmallows. Today, my mind is swirling with a bit of jet lag, some apprehension about my role as worship leader, but mostly great anticipation for how God’s love is about to be poured out on all of us.

The worship music theme cent will center around the Father’s unfailing love for us. I am so excited to see how He will use the lyrics and His word to minister peace to us as we sing with on voice and one heart. There is such an atmosphere of unity here, of heart and purpose. It is the sweet presence of Jesus.

The volunteers are sweet and tender. Just like the marshmallows I carried in my bag!
