DSC00669The Thrive Volunteer Team traveled to Bali to put on two retreats. With God’s help, we will provide encouragement through spiritual, physical and emotional refreshment for Global Women who live and work in this region of the world. Realizing our reliance on God, and with hearts full of love for Him, we set aside time during our pre-retreat days of training and preparation to worship and pray together. These special times remind us that the retreats are God’s responsibility and we are here to be His hands and feet as we care for those who serve Him.

DSC00597This morning, during our group training time, we each spent individual time in prayer. Later, we broke into three groups to share our personal concerns and pray for one another.

Besides worship, we are working! These few pre-retreat days are full of training and preparation for the retreats. This afternoon, we put together gifts we will share with the attendees. The buzz in the room was full of good cheer and excitement as we anticipate loving on the women we’ll meet in just 2 days.
