I currently work as the executive assistant to the superintendent at Grace International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  I’ll be leaving Thailand and GIS in October.  I’ve been here 9 ½ years and feel God is moving me in a different direction.

Pray that I make this transition well into furlough/sabbatical time for one year.  During this time, I’ll be connecting with people and seeking the Lord on where I will continue in ministry.  Lastly, pray that my financial supporters will continue with me through the furlough time and then into the next ministry (wherever that is – only God knows at this time).

Transition seems to be a major part of life in missions but that doesn’t make it easy. When we transitioned to a new country and ministry I kept thinking, “oh man. We have to do it all over again!” The “it” was everything and anything that I had already learned that I was going to have to learn again, from buying meat, to driving, to language. I pray that as God leads you into a new ministry you will be blessed by supporting friends and churches that will come along side you. I ask that God would give you strength and purpose as you set off again to share the love of Christ. Thanks for sharing your needs and for seeking God.
