Acts 2:42-43 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.

Today we will pray for Nancy and Gay, retreat attendees, and Elisabeth, a retreat volunteer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We are thankful you know our comings and goings, our arrivals and departures, and have planned our days. You know when the women attendees will be arriving and where they are coming from. Please help the volunteers to welcome them well and help them to settle in and feel at home during their four days at the retreat.

Women will be coming to the retreat from varied backgrounds and places of service, as well as length of time they’ve been stateside and away from their work. Please help that first smile of greeting to ease any nervousness they might be feeling and help connect them with new friends. Please teach the volunteers how to be present and care for these precious women attendees and may they love them with your sweet love.

We look forward to seeing how you will use the teaching and fellowship, wonderful meals and special prayer times to encourage each of our hearts

In Jesus Name,

Amen
