1 Peter 4:10-11 – Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Today we pray for Frederique and Monica as they come to attend the retreat, and for Pat, a volunteer who comes to serve.

Father, today we are thankful that you have made us with certain individual gifts and abilities with which we can serve you. We lift up to you the hairstylists who will be using their particular talents and strengths to serve the ladies who are our guests during the retreat. The hair salon always tends to be a delightful atmosphere, a wonderful place to enjoy being pampered.  We ask that you would create that comfortable and fun atmosphere for them. We ask for the hairstylists that you would draw them together as a team with a sense of unity and grace, and a heart attitude to serve you and each other, in addition to the retreat attendees. According to your Word, give them your needed strength to serve you. And we pray that you would provide openings in the schedule for all the ladies who desire that “new do”!

For the attendees, we pray for their work as they are away from their areas of service during this time in the States. Protect it and undergird it with your grace and provision, and sustain its effectiveness for your sake and for your glory, Lord.

We ask these things in Jesus’ name,

Amen
