Isaiah 52:7 – How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Today, we lift up Carolyn and Vera, retreat attendees, as well as our retreat volunteer, Joy.
Heavenly Father, today we lift up the Pedicure Room and those who will be serving by giving the gift of touch, and engaging in one-on-one conversation with the attendees. We ask that you will enable the volunteer pedicurists to engage attentively, and be sensitive to your Spirit and the particular needs of the ladies in their conversations with them. We pray for a warm, welcoming and fun atmosphere and experience as we set up; for smooth scheduling; and for team unity, confidence and gentle flexibility as we work together during the retreat.
As we pray, we also ask for the attendees that you would protect and care for their families while they are away from them during the retreat. Please cover their needs and use this time apart to strengthen their love for each other. When they are missing home, we ask that the ladies will be able to hear You clearly and experience a fresh sense of rest because they have spent time with You.
