Psalm 16:5, 11 – You alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Today, please pray for retreat attendees Michele and Lynda as well as our volunteers, Linda and Chris.

Father, we thank you that you have set apart Peg Forest to be our speaker at the retreat. As your Word says, “You make known to me the path of life” and “You fill me with joy in your presence.” We pray for Peg as she studies and prepares to present your Word to us, that she will hear your heart and voice clearly, and that she would be able to communicate well the passion she has to see women walk vibrantly, in freedom and intimacy with you. We ask that you would give her strength and good health, and that you would provide wisdom for her in anticipation of prayerful conversations with attendees during the retreats.

For the attendees, we ask, Father, that you would create a sense of tenderness and desire to hear you, and that your Spirit would work to enable receptive hearing, and transformation where you desire to heal, encourage and give hope through Peg’s presentation of your Word.

We thank you for your work in the lives of your precious children.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen

As a former missionary and current pastor's wife, Jill thrives when she is able to come alongside missionaries. Her ministry with PD Ministries and Thrive allows Jill to use her organizational and leadership skills as well as her flair for beauty to encourage missionary women. Jill loves to get away with her husband to mountain top retreats and to visit her far-away grandchildren. Her adventurous spirit has taken her para sailing, scuba diving, she has eaten strange foods like scorpions and crickets, and traversed the Amazon's Chanchamayo River. Her creativity shows itself in her pottery and her spirit is renewed by reading, keeping a quiet heart, and coming alongside others as a teacher, coach, mentor and friend. She says, " I get ecstatic watching God speak in specific situations and issues through His Word and resolve challenges in a way that makes it clear HE's at work! It is exciting to watch His Word literally come alive in the midst of very real concerns."
