STORY BEHIND THE PHOTO:
Amman, Jordan is a wonderful, ancient and modern, tense and yet tolerant city. Its hilly streets and deep valleys make for some dramatic views and dreary alleyways. We see Christian churches as well as the majority-people’s mosques. These days, it is full of refuge-seekers from many dangerous countries around the region. Every time we visit this place, we feel welcome. But we recognize the difficulties of the king who leads this country on the narrow path of peace. Pray for Jordan, that her people will be blessed and her leaders to have the wisdom of Solomon.
