TODAY WE PRAY FOR SPIRIT-FILLED LIVES

When we live God’s way (by the Spirit), He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard – things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely (Ephesians 5:22-23 The Message).

Lord Jesus, help us to keep “in step” with Your Spirit so that this is a reality in our day to day lives.

Bless Lisa and Michele with rich relationships. May the retreat provide ample fun connections. Developing significant friendships with indigenous women is easier said than done. Open doors of opportunity to mutually meet each other’s needs. We pray for insight and grace as they create new memories together. Bless their interaction with an infusion of Your Spirit. While loneliness is a reality in this process, we pray that the missionaries would experience intimacy with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
