Don’t be afraid for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown…For I am the Lord your God…you are precious to me….and I love you (Isaiah 43:1-4).

Lord, our desire is that Terri, Willeme and Diana experience the retreat as a safe haven. We pray for the women’s physical and emotional protection and that of their families. You know that assaults, drugs, illegal arms, robberies and sexual slavery are a reality in many areas. We ask that You give them wisdom, discernment and a strong sense of Your presence. Help them not to live in constant fear. May they be able to maintain a “refuge” in their homes for their families. Living like this is exhausting. Processing trauma can be a complicated journey. May we validate each experience by listening. Remind each of them that you know their name, love them, and they are precious to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
