TODAY WE LIFT UP THRIVE STAFF AS THEY PREPARE FOR VOLUNTEER’S ARRIVAL

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 15:4-6,13).

Lord, Lorrie and Christina (Thrive staff) are flying out today before the rest of team to set up logistics with the hotel. We ask that you go before them and grant favor (and understanding!) with the hotel personnel.

Father, we also thank you that Cindy is coming to do massages. Grant her physical, emotional and spiritual strength; as she will work many hours.

We pray for a sincere heart of servanthood and flexibility in each of the retreat workers. May You bond, unite and fill them with love for one another. May grace and a sense of humor abound. Envelope the new volunteers with a sense of peace. Help them watch out for each other and truly experience Your presence as You orchestrate their entire time there.

The beautiful country of Costa Rica has become one of the top retirement choices for US retirees. Clean beaches, good health care, great weather and a stable government brings thousands south. Yet there are hundreds of villages in Costa Rica that still need the Gospel. In addition to key training ministries in the country, there are several groups seeking to reach towns and villages that have yet to hear the Gospel. We lift up the efforts by locals and missionaries to bring the word of life to isolated and remote areas of Costa Rica. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
