TODAY WE PRAY FOR UNITY AND FORGIVENESS AMONG CHRISTIAN WORKERS

Jesus’ prayer for his disciples…”Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name – the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:11, 15-17).

Lord, we bring before You Anne, Jackie and Michelle today. Thank you for their faithful service to You. Lord, we ask that Your Spirit will reveal any areas of unforgiveness among Your workers. We battle an enemy who uses relational wounds to divide us in our goal of seeing Your Kingdom expanded. We pray against unforgiveness between team members (or national partners), grace to accept one another as they are, along with wisdom, perseverance, and healing to work in unity. We come before you today, Lord, on behalf of the country of Honduras. The government is seeking to establish genuine democratic rule but is hampered by a culture of crime, by institutional violence with the military and vigilante death squads closely linked, and also by a corrupt judicial system that protects the privileged and is open to “influence.” Leadership training is now the vital need to supply the growing number of congregations We ask that the trainers give biblical knowledge and be models for spiritual ministry. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
