TODAY WE PRAY FOR ATTENDEES TO BE JOYFUL IN THE FACE OF TRIALS

Consider it pure joy, my brothers [and sisters], whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him (James 1:2-5).

Father, whether Amy and Tracy are in ministries where they are seeing much or little fruit, we pray for intimate encounters with You. When the going seems dry, distant, silent and complicated, may they allow You to draw them closer to You, allowing their faith to be being tested and impurities purged. By Your Spirit, empower each of these women to rejoice and not despair. Give each of them an intimate encounter with You during the retreat (that only You would have known they needed). We ask for divine appointments and a movement of your Spirit in each country represented. One of the attendee’s prayer requests is: “That this retreat would be a time of rest for my soul and energize me not just to endure the trials we are facing, but to embrace them and learn from them and in time, celebrate their work in my life. That my family can get through the next few months as we work on a house, have a team, and move into a partially built house, try to finish my son’s school and keep ministry going.” (Amazon, Brazil)
