INTRODUCTION

Simply by sitting in your living room, you have the power to help validate Global Women’s callings throughout Central America. Prayer to our Father on their behalf will be heard and answered. For the next 30 days, I invite you to lift up each attendee by name, country represented and volunteer. The Thrive retreats encourage their souls through the power of intercession.

TODAY WE PRAY FOR THE ATTENDEE’S LANGUAGE AND CULTURE LEARNING

Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people; the sheep of his pasture (Psalm 100:3).

You are who You are, Lord God. Thank you for making each of us unique and giving us a true, unshakable identity and security in belonging to You. May we follow your lead, Shepherd, as we journey through life.

Lord, we thank you Jenny and Lydia heard and obeyed your call on their lives that has led them to serve overseas. Language and culture learning may be some of the most draining things about beginning a new life on the field, yet they are also the very things that bring a worker to a place of contentment and effectiveness. Father God, we ask that You give them courage, perseverance and energy for this process. During the retreat, may they each thoroughly enjoy the interaction with other women, in English, who are in or have been in their similar struggles.
Mexico is more than just border towns, it has an interior rich in history and in great need for dedicated missionaries. There still remain many areas where evangelical work is in its infancy or non-existent. We pray for more laborers to head into the remote areas of Mexico as well as the unreached urban centers. We pray that they will persevere in the face of increasing crime and intimidation.  In Jesus’ name, Amen
