Having worked in stateside and global ministry for more than 30 years, I joined the THRIVE volunteer team in Thailand believing I was well equipped to bless the women who would be attending. Though I was sure I would also be blessed in the serving, I had no understanding of how the experience would shake me, stretch me … change me. My perspective has truly experienced a massive shift. I’m in awe at how God has worked during our two retreats to bring 29 volunteer workers and 100 global workers together to grow His kingdom.
My heart is full, pressed down, and overflowing, and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to join this amazing time dedicated to empowering global women.
