Today we pray for Volunteer: Jo Beth
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy. (Philippians 1:4 )
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the the women who will lead everyone to worship You with all their hearts, minds, souls and spirits while we are at the Furlough Retreat. Please give them strength and health to lead us, help them with the technical aspects of worship and help their focus be You alone. When there are technical glitches or musical errors, help our worship leaders to release them to you and remember You are Lord even of glitches and errors. If we make noise, our noise will be beautiful in your ears.
May each volunteer and attendee follow our worship leaders into Your presence with joy and thanksgiving for Who You are and all You have done. May our corporate worship give You pleasure, honor and glory!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenges for Prayer:
Bible translation. Much has been achieved in the last 25 years. At least seven long-awaited NTs are published, namely Wolof, Serer, Mandinka, Tukulor, Fulakunda, Jola Kasa and Bassari. Work is underway on 17 other translations, with several teams being led by Senegalese. Pray especially for work on several Jola languages (WEC, WBT). The Wolof OT is being translated. Just as vital is the work in literacy training – translations without readers are useless. Pray for the Scripture translation teams, and for widespread distribution of and response to the Scriptures.
