______ DAY 9 – EXPERIENCE HIS PRESENCE IN THE MUNDANE______
We keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give these ladies the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that they may KNOW him better. We pray also that the eyes of their hearts may be ENLIGHTENED in order that they may know (and feel!) the HOPE to which He has called them, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints (may they enjoy each other at the retreat), and may they experience His incomparably great power as they believe in Him.
Ephesians 1:17-19
The cry of these ladies’ hearts are to lean into and experience His presence in the midst of the mundane. We pray that the quiet, loving, powerful presence of God in each attendee’s life bring healing and forgiveness, especially for the trauma and hurts in their lives.
Lord we lift up Lebanon. This small country has suffered greatly over the last couple of months. Yet, Father God, we thank you for the remarkable openness to spiritual things in the 1990s in the Muslim, Druze, and Christian communities. Lebanon is still the only land in the Middle East where anyone is legally free to change their religious affiliation. Believers from most other Arab countries can more freely come to Lebanon for training. We pray that religious freedom might be maintained and that radical elements within the country wouldn’t destroy that.
