Housemate fun! I have the great privilege of living with two young ladies who are also my teachers in learning their language. They end up being my main source of cultural information, and the ones to help me communicate better and make better informed decisions in connections with their community. By God’s grace, and if he continues to will it, we are moving toward working on Bible translation for their language.
We try to make a special day out of each about our birthdays every year. This rainy day in the park (pictured here on a lawn swing) was a picnic lunch for Karen’s* Birthday at the beginning of August. (*pseudonym)
