__________________ DAY 2 – GRACE IN TRANSITIONS__________________
Blessed is the [woman] man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord. For [she] he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7–8 NKJV
Today I/we pray for Attendees: Meghan, Nicole, Deborah, and Stephanie
Father, I/we ask You to visit these women with grace in their seasons of transitions. I/we pray that the barren landscape of trial will become fertile soil for new growth. Gracious God, revive their spirit and restore their laughter. May they find You in their pain and trust You in their waiting. Holy One who redeems all things, meet them powerfully as they journey through a “Land Between” [Manion, Jeff, The Land Between: Finding God in Difficult Transitions]. I/we pray that You free them from a spirit of fear.
Lord, Hungary is a middle European country that has a rich history of Christianity but seems to have lost contact with the gospel. Decades of Soviet oppression and a string of government scandals have caused disillusion and dissatisfaction to reign among Hungarians. There are pockets of church growth, but much of the country is in need of Christ’s salvation. We pray for productive collaboration among the Christian groups in reaching the lost of Hungary.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
